I cast this antique, square nail using the lost wax casting method. The original nail was gifted to me from a house that was being taken down in the historic Treme neighborhood. I do all of my own casting in my New Orleans studio & each piece is made by me, from start to finish. I cast my pieces using recycled sterling silver.

This necklace can be made oxidized (blackened) or not. The nail is about 2 1/2" long, and is paired with a long sterling silver chain measuring 30". If you prefer a shorter chain, just send me a message.
